Kale, Beet and Apple Juice

Make this kale, beet and apple juice your new favorite juice to start your day. It’s vibrant, a bit gingery and naturally sweet.

Ingredients:

550g honey crisp apples

35g ginger, peeled

385g golden beets

250g kale

66g whole lemon(s) with rind

370ml spring water

Directions: (recipe starts at 08:34:13)

  1. Cut up the apples, ginger, golden beets and lemons into smaller pieces and shred the kale.

  2. Load up a sterilized blender with the ingredients and water and blitz until well pulverized.

  3. Line a large mixing bowl with a cleaned nut milk bag and strain the blended goods to extract the juice.

  4. Repeat the process if any ingredients are left and blend with some of the strained juice to make the blending process easier.

  5. Store in a clean sterilized jar and keep chilled in the refrigerator.

  6. Consume this juice within 3 - 4 days.

  7. If you have a juicer, add all the ingredients into the juicer, extract the juice and skip the addition of water.
