Pear and Ginger Chia Pudding

Pear and Ginger Chia Pudding is a serious breakfast treat filled with fiber and loads of healthy nutrients that you and your gut will love. Though considered a winter favorite due to its warming notes, you can still make it anytime of the year you feel like it.

Preparation time: 10 minutes + Duration in refrigerator

Ingredients:

193g bosch pear

53g chia seeds

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

1/4 tsp all spice powder

1 1/2 tbsp fresh grated ginger root

1/8 tsp fine sea salt

30ml raw honey

307ml walnut sunflower milk

Directions:

  1. Prepare a clean glass storage container and have it close by your work station. Cut the pear in half to core it then cut into tiny cubes, then place them in the container.

  2. Grater some ginger to amount to 1 1/2 tbsp and add to the cubed pears.

  3. Add in the cinnamon powder, all spice, salt, honey and milk. Whisk gently to combine.

  4. Add in the chia seeds and mix well. Allow the contents in the container to settle undisturbed for 5 minutes for the chia seeds to absorb the milk. Then mix again to prevent chia seeds from clumping up or settling at the bottom of the container.

  5. Cover the container with its lid and store in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight for the chia pudding to thicken.

  6. Serve with a few slices of pear and chopped walnuts. Enjoy.
